IT ALL BEGAN THIS WAY

It started when two Air Force veterans met for lunch and started talking about their occupations. One of them, a salesman, had been in the submetering business for over twenty years and the other, a Master Plumber, electrician and computer technician had been serving five states doing plumbing, electrical and gas repair for over thirty seven years as Nesbitt Repair. They discussed their objectives and their capabilities and decided to join forces. After talking to several of their friends and associates, they decided to form a company. Thus United Utilities of Georgia LLC was born.

They were told by some people in the insurance industry that every year many millions of dollars was paid out repairing damage from water leaks. One homeowner was on vacation for only two weeks and while away there was a leak in her home. It resulted in over $250,000.00 damage.  ONLY ONE LEAK!

That’s when these two vets thought that something had to be done. They started selling a top-of-the-line submetering system from Next Century that could detect a leak in 24 hours or less. Was that soon enough they asked themselves? They started on a mission to find a better way. Frank wanted to know if there was a way to immediately detect a leak and shut the water off before significant damage was done.
